don’t forget your fork, theres pie!

So its been a while since my trip now, and I do have some pics I’d like to share. No car pics yet as I’m working on a feature for  motormavens featuring sean’s shop and his infamous ae86.  The hawaii trip for me was rough, lots of sad times, good times, good friends/family etc, getting lost, towed, irritated to shit, you know…stuff that makes vacations memorable. Hah!  Anyways, I did take a ton of pictures, but i’ll only post 5 or so. I still think I didn’t have enough time shooting, and left the islands unfulfilled, but I’ll try to plan another trip next year! maybe just stick to Kauai, Maui, and Big Island, Oahu = do not want.  Budget car won’t have to charge me $27 a day for not being under 25 anymore either! WHAT A RIP!!! btw I’m 25 now, next stop 30’s =x!

Heres a picture of the Hanalei Pier (across the street from my grandparents house). This place has some of the nicest sunsets i’ve ever seen, Its a shame i didnt get more pictures, I actually spent most of my time there repairing, fixing or cleaning things. I actually spent 2 days putting together/pulling out a front end and getting a 88 Toyo P/U to run again. (what kind of vacation is that right?/nah i enjoyed it!)

One thing about Kauai, is that its the wettest Island in the chain. It rains everyday even if it doesn’t seem like it. Shortly after this pic was taken it went from slight showers to heavy rain, so of course with all my gear i went to seek shelter under the pier. I had to wait for the rain to stop, so why not set up for another pic?

Heres another night on the northern shore of the hanalei bay.  the colors just make me miss that place so much already!

Okay, enough of hanalei, I’ll end up posting a million pictures!!!  Heres one of Honomua Bay/marine sanctuary! (made me wish i was a stronger/swimmer/diver) i hear its absolutely beautiful underneath there!

which is near hawaii kai, which is just photographers heaven. you can walk by a million different spots that scream hawaii in the backdrop. seriously made me think of wedding photographer’s dream.

I’m going to wrap up this post with several pictures of a best friend of mine. I’ve known Jon since 1997ish? He’s an active auto enthusiasts and has had some really sick rides, especially his last daily 350z/sc300.  Anyways, he wanted to get pics taken w/his gf kyley, so we hit up a few spots. thank god for sb28’s and elinchrom skyports. it really makes traveling light easy!
